[ 003 ] [ Audio ] Backdated to a few hours before the party log
[A rare voice to the journals breaks through the silence, the Keep Guard taking his turn to speak. His tone is rather calm, void of any of the assertiveness that would usually come with his words.
He sounds, if anything, content.]
To the guests of Holloway's Keep, I bring you news of celebration.
The New Year is upon us, and to that I wish you all a Happy New Year. A party of sorts has been arranged on the Green, put together by the staff to commend this event. This will be the first of many great things to come.
It is not essential for you to attend, no, but given the work gone into this night, I hope that you will.
[That said, Duran cuts the feed. Enjoy, Keep!]

[He might be trolling. Just a little. Duran keeps his tone the same as his post previous.]

As for myself, however, I was unable to attend. My apologies.

Hardy fuckin' har.
[He might as well go, and when it's over he can just come back. Besides he should probably talk his girliemons back anyway.]

[He does sound vaguely amused though.]
You're in the forest, are you not? Will you be requiring aid in finding your way back?

[audio] {{OOC: Tammy}}
So you can understand my wariness here.
[audio]
Your current attire is most unfortunate, Tammy, but it will pass.
[Did she tell him her name? Nope. Duran just knows these things.]
[audio]
So you're saying the pumpkin thing wasn't the good Lord's doing?
And it's a bit more than "attire" and a few hundred paces beyond "unfortunate," but that's just my opinion, and I'll admit to a huge amount of bias.
[audio]
[Careful, Tammy. This is the loyal hound you speak to.]

A good new year to you too, Duran.
[It's not Rem's voice, but that's his intonation, his diction, and his signature.]
Are you enjoying yourself?

[Duran knows his friend well enough to tell.]
They still do not trust us. I find this bothersome.
[Talk for another time.]
How do you fare? You sound different.
[Audio] SEALED
But, other matters first.]
My new form is something of a monstrosity, but I do not mind. I fare well enough.

Hunger is such a... strange sensation. I feel I may devour that spit-roast pig whole.

[For a brief moment, Duran is lost to memory. You can almost hear the smile in his voice.]
Bizarre, is it not? I tell myself each time I won't forget it, but when I am myself again, the memory fades. Speak to Joseph. He may be able to do more for you in that regard.

They call you Kid, do they not?
[Audio]
Are we going to be like this forever?
[The Kid doesn't care too much about this feast. He's more concerned with the sudden state of his body.]

[Curiosity and the bard.]

I am thus far undecided. Would you like if I did?
The gears are certainly turning quickly though. ]
Uhm, I do not think that my opinion should carry so much weight, sir. But, if it is a celebration, it should be enjoyed by everyone that can. I would say yes, then.
Should my work allow it, and if Lord Deior has no objection, I may attend then.
