[A rare voice to the journals breaks through the silence, the Keep Guard taking his turn to speak. His tone is rather calm, void of any of the assertiveness that would usually come with his words.

He sounds, if anything, content.]

To the guests of Holloway's Keep, I bring you news of celebration.

The New Year is upon us, and to that I wish you all a Happy New Year. A party of sorts has been arranged on the Green, put together by the staff to commend this event. This will be the first of many great things to come.

It is not essential for you to attend, no, but given the work gone into this night, I hope that you will.

It was entertaining, to say the least. Did you not grasp the feeling of comradeship as guests banded together to defeat the greater evil?

So you're saying the pumpkin thing wasn't the good Lord's doing?

And it's a bit more than "attire" and a few hundred paces beyond "unfortunate," but that's just my opinion, and I'll admit to a huge amount of bias.

They still do not trust us. I find this bothersome.

My new form is something of a monstrosity, but I do not mind. I fare well enough.

[For a brief moment, Duran is lost to memory. You can almost hear the smile in his voice.]

Bizarre, is it not? I tell myself each time I won't forget it, but when I am myself again, the memory fades. Speak to Joseph. He may be able to do more for you in that regard.

[The Kid doesn't care too much about this feast. He's more concerned with the sudden state of his body.]

[The video shows a widening of the eyes that gives away her startlement at the question posed. That was the last thing she was expecting!

The gears are certainly turning quickly though. ]

Uhm, I do not think that my opinion should carry so much weight, sir. But, if it is a celebration, it should be enjoyed by everyone that can. I would say yes, then.
