[Patrolling the grounds is a rather large, black wolf with piercing blue eyes. His form is not constant, shifting and flickering as though the beast were made of smoke, vanishing into one shadow and reappearing from another. From time to time, he pauses to sniff the air, his teeth bared and stance ready for attack.

Duran Zaitsev, guard of Holloway's Keep, was not pleased with the current infestation.]

[Jael's demeanor changes instantly, her lips pulling back in a silent snarl as she heads out into the open, looking around quickly as she searches for the source of the sound.]

[Bingo. Duran howls, hackles standing up as he kicks into attack mode. He's seen enough to know Jael is infected and thus a danger to the Keep.

Without further pause, he charges.]

[Jael turns when Duran draws near, not quite expecting to see a wolf come charging at her. She recovers swiftly and charges as well, ready and willing to kill this thing daring to attack her.]
